Programme Manager - Cost Tracking & Financial Reporting

They are currently seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join their team in Kraków on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of programme delivery, providing critical financial tracking, reporting and governance support that directly influences project success and business performance.


Position Overview


As Programme Manager supporting cost tracking, you will play a vital role in ensuring programme projects are effectively managed through comprehensive documentation, financial reporting and performance tracking. Reporting to the CTA Programme Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring project spend, forecasting costs, tracking benefits realisation and providing insightful analysis that drives positive outcomes. Your work will directly support decision-making processes and help ensure programmes deliver their intended value on time and within budget.


Responsibilities



  • Manage programme documentation and coordinate administrative activities

  • Participate in devising and monitoring internal governance frameworks

  • Define, track and review activity progress against performance targets

  • Prepare monthly management information reports on costs and benefits

  • Track business project spend and develop accurate spend forecasts

  • Facilitate the development of effective communication and reporting strategies

  • Provide proactive financial analysis and key performance metrics

  • Partner with Finance to ensure programme spend is reflected in Annual Operating Plans

  • Work with business units to understand cost performance against targets

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all programme financials

  • Provide training and support to project teams and stakeholders

  • Drive financial resource planning discussions within relevant domains

  • Escalate risks appropriately to ensure timely mitigation


Requirements



  • Proven experience in programme or project management support roles

  • Strong financial tracking, reporting and analysis capabilities

  • Excellent documentation and administrative management skills

  • Experience preparing management information and performance reports

  • Ability to develop and maintain accurate cost forecasts

  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks and processes

  • Experience partnering with Finance teams on planning and forecasting

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders

  • Proficiency in tracking project performance against budget and timelines

  • Analytical mindset with ability to provide actionable insights

  • Experience supporting multiple projects or programmes simultaneously

  • Competence in risk identification and escalation processes

  • Ability to provide training and guidance to project teams

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
