Job Description - Power BI Developer

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join a Data & Analytics team working on large-scale, cloud-based BI solutions. The role focuses on building interactive dashboards, developing advanced data models, and integrating AI-driven analytics to deliver trusted data products and support enterprise decision-making.

Responsibilities:

â¢ Design, implement, and optimise BI solutions using Power BI and Azure Data Platform

â¢ Build interactive dashboards and advanced data models with usability and storytelling in mind

â¢ Develop data ingestion and transformation processes (ETL/ELT) across cloud and hybrid environments

â¢ Ensure performance, scalability, and security including role-level security and governance

â¢ Translate business requirements into technical designs with clear business value

â¢ Integrate AI-driven analytics and predictive models into BI dashboards where relevant

â¢ Promote self-service BI and support business adoption of data solutions

Requirements

â¢ 3+ yearsâ experience in BI development with strong Power BI expertise

â¢ Excellent SQL skills with ability to optimise queries

â¢ Proficiency in DAX and advanced data modelling

â¢ Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modelling

â¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

â¢ English at C1 level, confident presenting to both business and technical stakeholders

Nice to have

â¢ Azure services: Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Fabric

â¢ Experience with Tableau, Qlik, or MS SSRS/SSAS

â¢ Exposure to ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend)

â¢ Understanding of AI/ML integration with BI

â¢ Experience working in Agile environments
