Python Backend Engineer (Mid/Senior)

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python;
  


• Build and evolve distributed systems supporting real-time data processing;
  


• Work with streaming data pipelines and event-driven architectures;
  


• Develop and operate services within AWS cloud environments;
  


• Collaborate closely with platform, data, and engineering teams to ensure system reliability and scalability;
  


• Write clean, testable, and maintainable production code;
  


• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
  

Requirements

• 5-7 years of commercial experience as a Python backend engineer (mandatory);
  


• Strong experience building production-grade backend or platform systems;
  


• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts (reliability, scalability, fault tolerance);
  


• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS;
  


• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and backend service design;
  


• Strong engineering fundamentals: debugging, testing, performance optimization.
  

• Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub);
  


• Exposure to data platforms or ML-enabled systems;
  


• Experience with high-throughput or low-latency systems (real-time processing);
  


• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, or DevOps tooling;
