Role Description: 

The R&D Project Leader is responsible for leading new project introduction or technology modules as directed by the Generation Plan. This role involves driving and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver project results, ensuring that new products/projects fit into the platform and subsystem structure, and supporting projects from definition to series production approval. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage projects in areas such as new platform or subsystem projects, new features and aesthetic design, cost reduction, quality improvement, and platform or subsystem standardization. 

• Drive and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. 

• Support and drive projects from definition to series production approval. 

• Report in CP-meetings/steering team meetings. 

• Create investment requests when applicable. 

• Ensure assured safety and quality standards are met. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience as a Project Leader in Industrial and/or R&D environment, Strong project management

• Ability to support Technical Development and Product Industrialization Builds 

• Good written, verbal communication, and presentation skills. 

• Attention to detail and accuracy in numeracy, reporting, and presenting. 

• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

• Ability to prioritize projects and self-manage workload. 

• Ability to work with and build relationships with people at all levels within the organization. 

• Ability to work autonomously in a cross-functional matrix organization. 

• Ability to create an efficient team environment and contribute drive the team and project meetings. 

• Fit in intercultural collaboration and adapt communication to different cultures. 

• Results-oriented with a focus on innovation and intellectual property. 

Nice to have:

• Degree in Engineering or Design

• PMP certification

• International experience – exposure to APAC

Languages: 

• Proficiency in English.
