Our client is an international organisation delivering a significant business transformation programme across their Order Management and Order-to-Cash landscape. They operate within a complex, matrixed environment and are focused on standardising processes, improving efficiency and implementing SAP ERP capabilities across their operations. This transformation requires coordination across multiple geographies, business functions and technology teams to deliver meaningful change.
They are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Order Management expertise to support the delivery of this transformation programme. This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact initiative, bringing structure and clarity to complex workstreams while collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the business.
Position Overview
As Project Manager, you will manage the day-to-day delivery of projects and workstreams relating to Order Management within a wider business transformation programme. You will coordinate activities across business, process and technology teams, ensuring milestones, dependencies and deliverables are effectively managed. This role requires strong knowledge of Order Management processes in a complex enterprise environment, alongside proven experience delivering transformation involving SAP ERP. You will work closely with Order Management subject matter experts, business stakeholders and SAP teams to align requirements, drive progress and ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day delivery of Order Management projects and workstreams
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies and deliverables
- Coordinate activities across business, process, technology and implementation teams
- Collaborate with Order Management SMEs to understand processes and transformation priorities
- Support design and implementation of improved and standardised Order Management processes
- Manage dependencies across Order-to-Cash processes including order entry, fulfilment and billing
- Work with SAP teams to align business requirements with ERP capabilities
- Facilitate workshops, project meetings and stakeholder discussions
- Track progress and proactively manage risks, issues and blockers
- Establish clear project governance, reporting and escalation mechanisms
- Prepare concise status updates for programme leadership and senior stakeholders
- Coordinate testing, business readiness, cutover and implementation activities
- Drive actions through to completion and maintain clear accountability
- Build effective relationships across geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as Project Manager delivering Order Management or Order-to-Cash transformation programmes
- Strong functional understanding of Order Management processes within complex organisations
- SAP ERP experience required
- Experience delivering projects involving business process and technology change
- Strong project planning, governance, RAID and dependency management capabilities
- Experience coordinating multiple workstreams across business and technology teams
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to communicate complex project activity clearly to operational and senior stakeholders
- Experience working within large, international or matrixed organisations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Experience delivering SAP-enabled Order Management or O2C transformation
- Experience with process standardisation, ERP implementation or wider business transformation programmes
- Experience coordinating testing, cutover, deployment and business readiness activities
- Consulting or client-facing transformation experience
