Your role

As Solution Architect SAP Finance, based in Poland, you will act as a trusted technology advisor to Lead Architects, Projects, System Owners, and Process Owners. You will be responsible for ensuring architectural coherence across the SAP Finance solution area, guiding both current and target architecture, and aligning solutions with enterprise principles, internal guidelines, and strategic roadmaps. The role combines architecture leadership, stakeholder engagement, and solution design across Finance and Treasury, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and business value.

• Define and govern the SAP Finance architecture across FI/CO and TRM, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, internal guidelines, and the S/4HANA roadmap


• Lead end-to-end solution design for Finance and Treasury processes, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Controlling, Cash and Liquidity Management, and Risk Management


• Own the technical and functional blueprint for FI/CO and TRM implementations, migrations, and enhancements, while governing integrations with adjacent systems


• Bridge business stakeholders, finance process owners, and IT delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable, compliant, and effective SAP solutions


• Architect and oversee key finance capabilities such as e-invoicing compliance, controlling structures, and architecture quality gates, while mentoring SAP Finance consultants and functional analysts

You will have broad exposure to Finance and Treasury processes, enterprise architecture, compliance requirements, and complex cross-functional initiatives, while acting as a trusted expert and thought leader within your solution area.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a solution architect or senior functional architect within SAP Finance, covering FI/CO and preferably TRM


• Strong expertise in Finance and Treasury processes, including areas such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Controlling, Cash Management, Risk Management, and management reporting


• Experience defining architecture roadmaps, leading solution design, and governing implementations, migrations, and enhancements in SAP landscapes


• Solid understanding of integrations, IT compliance, IT security, and regulatory requirements, including exposure to e-invoicing or country-specific finance compliance solutions


• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions while working effectively across business and IT stakeholders

The team works closely with Lead Architects, IT delivery teams, process owners, and a wide range of business stakeholders to ensure that architecture supports both strategic priorities and operational needs. In this role, you will collaborate broadly across Global IT, Finance, Treasury, compliance, security, and operational teams, helping to connect architecture direction with practical delivery.

The office is located in Gdansk, and we are open to remote working solutions.
