Meniga is the leading personalisation platform for incumbent banks. For 17 years we have helped the world's largest financial institutions transform from transactional apps into intelligent financial companions - enabling them to compete with neobanks, deepen customer relationships, and grow revenue at scale. Today we power over 100 million banking customers across 30 banks worldwide, and were named a Top Fintech Company in 2025.
The competitive threat from players like Revolut is real, urgent, and accelerating. We exist to help established banks respond - and win.
We are hiring a Senior Account Executive to grow our international sales team. This is a high-impact, hunter role, responsible for driving new logo growth across Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions in the DACH and CEE region. You will operate as a trusted advisor to C-level banking executives - identifying client needs, building long-term strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions that translate Meniga’s platform into measurable business outcomes.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, Pre-Sales, and Delivery to ensure an exceptional client experience from first conversation to signed contract. You will be motivated by helping institutions navigate one of the most significant competitive shifts in the history of financial services.
The role can be based in Warsaw or Amsterdam.
Responsibilities
Identify, hunt, and act on new opportunities within the Banking industry across the DACH and CEE region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and neighbouring markets)
Own and consistently exceed a demanding new business ACV quota by leading and closing multi-million-dollar deals with Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CDOs, CMOs, and Heads of Digital - engaging stakeholders at all levels throughout the sales cycle
Manage complete, complex sales cycles from prospecting through to executive presentation, negotiation, and handover to the Delivery team
Translate Meniga's personalisation platform into compelling, quantified business cases centred on customer lifetime value, primary relationship retention, and revenue uplift
Create high-quality proposals, coordinate and lead RFP/RFI responses, and structure commercial agreements that reflect long-term partnership value
Generate pipeline through senior executive outreach, industry events, and strategic engagement with Meniga's partner ecosystem of System Integrators and Cloud Providers
Advance opportunities through the sales funnel with discipline, maintaining CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting at all times
Orchestrate internal virtual teams across Pre-Sales, Legal, and Product to ensure seamless go-to-market execution
Stay sharp on the competitive landscape - particularly the neobank threat - to position Meniga's value with precision and urgency
Requirements
5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, with a strong preference for fintech, banking technology, or enterprise SaaS
Proven track record of closing complex, multi-year deals with enterprise clients including C-level engagement and multi-stakeholder sign-off
Strong understanding of the financial services ecosystem - particularly digital banking, personalisation, PFM, payments, and/or core banking platforms
Familiarity with the challenges facing incumbent banks: legacy infrastructure, the neobank threat, data fragmentation, and the pressure to personalise at scale
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - able to adapt from boardroom C-suite conversations to detailed technical discussions
Consultative, value-driven sales approach with the ability to manage multiple complex deals simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a genuine customer-focused mindset
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and disciplined sales performance tracking
Fluent in English (written and spoken); professional proficiency in German is strongly preferred and will be a significant differentiator; additional CEE languages (Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian) are a further advantage
Travel- up to 40% travel across the DACH and CEE region to engage prospects and clients in person
Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
