Are you an engineer with several years of experience within drainage for highways and aviation projects? Then, this is the place to apply your knowledge and curiosity to enable a better tomorrow.

Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and innovative Senior Drainage Engineer to join our international aviation infrastructure team and build capacity in Poland. In this role, you will play an important role in contributing to the planning, design, and delivery of airside facilities for airports and aviation projects or highway drainage. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues globally on some of the most sustainable projects.

Furthermore, on a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Lead the design and delivery of stormwater, drainage, grading, and utility systems for airfield and/or highway infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant aviation, road, environmental, and water authority standards.

  • Perform hydrological and hydraulic analyses and develop technically sound engineering designs, drawings, and documentation, including drainage protection measures and construction-phase water management.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions, manage design interfaces, support change management, value engineering, and work effectively across different project delivery models.

  • Support project execution by providing technical input for planning, scheduling, risk management, quality assurance, and ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and best practices.

  • Mentor and guide team members, encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing, and build close relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while supporting business development initiatives.

  • Drive digital engineering, innovation, and safe design practices through BIM/3D modelling, continuous improvement, and a clear focus on health, safety, and wellbeing in design.

Your Skills. Our Team. Together We Design the Future

The first step to thrive in this role is that you are motivated to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you have:

  • Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience in drainage/stormwater engineering, including 6+ years on highway and/or airfield (aviation) projects.

  • Extensive expertise in hydrological and hydraulic design, including surface water management, grading, stormwater systems, and airfield drainage, with knowledge of ICAO, EASA, FAA, and ICAO Annex 14 standards.

  • Proficient in industry-standard engineering software such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, InfoDrainage, MIKE, HEC-RAS, or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary designs, manage technical interfaces, and support project delivery through planning, risk management, and design coordination.

  • Experience in design reviews, quality assurance, and mentoring junior engineers, ensuring technical excellence and best practices.

  • Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary, international teams and fluency in written and spoken English.
