Your role:

As a Senior Databricks Applications Developer at LIPTON Teas and Infusions, you will lead the design and development of scalable, data-driven applications within the Databricks ecosystem. You will leverage modern technologies to build robust, high-performance applications that transform curated data into impactful, user-facing solutions.

In this role, you will take ownership of application architecture and drive best practices in backend development, data access, and performance optimization. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor other developers, contribute to technical standards, and guide architectural decisions across the platform.

Your work will play a critical role in shaping how the organization interacts with data enabling real-time insights, improving user adoption, and driving data-informed decision-making at scale. You will also contribute to the evolution of our application and data platform architecture to support a growing number of use cases and users.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design and develop user interfaces and interactive front-end components for data and AI applications


• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data-driven applications


• Work with Delta Lake and lakehouse to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performance data storage


• Collaborate with data engineers and analytics engineers to consume curated datasets


• Optimize application performance and data access patterns


• Define best practices for application architecture, data access, and performance optimization


• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling within apps


• Drive CI/CD pipelines and deployment of Databricks Apps


• Drive internal frameworks that standardize environments and code structure


• Contribute to the evolution of the application and data platform architecture

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field


• 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development


• Hands-on experience with Databricks platform


• Strong experience with Node.js and Python


• Solid understanding of Delta Lake and data lakehouse architecture


• Experience with version control systems (Git)
