(Senior) Azure Cloud Engineer

• Design, build and develop customers' Azure environments – from landing zone to application platform
  
  


• Operate and develop container platforms on Kubernetes – deployment, upgrades, scaling and troubleshooting
  
  


• Build security into the platform from the start – hardening, logging, access control and traceability
  
  


• Write and maintain infrastructure as code in Bicep and Terraform, with reusable modules and clear structure
  
  


• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub
  
  


• Work with Azure PaaS services and automate away recurring manual work
  
  


• Act as technical advisor in customer conversations – turning needs into proposed solutions and concrete next steps
  
  


• Raise the quality of our delivery through documentation, standardisation and clear ways of working
  
  

Wymagania

• At least five years of experience with Azure, cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
  
  


• Experience running Kubernetes in production – Azure Kubernetes Service or other Kubernetes distributions, such as OpenShift or Rancher. Which flavour you come from matters less
  
  


• Solid experience with infrastructure as code – Bicep, Terraform or ARM
  
  


• Experience with CI/CD and version control in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
  
  


• Good understanding of identity, networking and security in Azure – Entra ID, RBAC, network topologies and Azure policy
  
  


• The ability to own the customer conversation independently and take responsibility all the way from idea to ongoing management
  
  


• Fluent English, spoken and written
  
  

• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
  
  


• Experience with GitOps and tools such as Helm, Argo CD or Flux
  
  


• A development background – you do not need to be a developer, but it helps to be able to read and write code (PowerShell, C#, Python or similar)
  
  


• Experience delivering services to several customers in parallel, rather than a single internal environment
  
  


• Experience with observability and monitoring, for example Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  
  


• Experience with the security tooling in Azure – Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Policy
  
  


• Experience working in environments with high security requirements, or with regulations such as NIS2, DORA or CER
  
  


• Certifications in Azure, security or Kubernetes – for example AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500, SC-100 or CKA. A plus, but not a requirement
  
  


• Experience working AI-assisted in code, troubleshooting and documentation
