💡Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer who will join to the local team collaborates with broader organization of 120 professionals located around the globe. We deliver over 700 changes to production each month with standardized Agile DevSecOps processes that evolves over time.

Our teams are currently operating in microservices environment based on Java 11 and Spring boot with a push to further modernize the stack with technologies such as Google cloud platform (CloudSQL, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery and Cloud Operations). These microservices interact with central platform running a distributed cache using Oracle Coherence with an underlying Oracle and PostgreSQL RDBMS Operational Data Store (ODS). The user interface is being built with Angular and the platform integrates with other systems in & outside the company using a combination of MQ, File, Web Service and REST interfaces.

Team uses DevOps tools such as Teamcity, Jenkis, Maven, Nexus, Ansible and Terraform,Docker,FLUX.

📈 Your Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GKE, CloudSQL, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Operations) in a large-scale microservices environment

• Drive and support CI/CD pipeline development, maintenance, and optimization using Jenkins, Cloud Build, TeamCity, Maven, Nexus, and Ansible

• Manage and improve DevSecOps processes across the full software delivery lifecycle, contributing to 700+ production deployments per month

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible and Flux

• Build and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to streamline operational tasks

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues across containerized (Docker/GKE) and Linux-based environments

• Configure and maintain TLS/certificate-based security, messaging integrations (IBM MQ), and sFTP connectivity

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable operation of Java 11 / Spring Boot microservices integrated with Oracle Coherence, Oracle DB, and PostgreSQL ODS

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of standardized DevOps practices within a globally distributed team of 120+ professionals

• Translate functional and business requirements into robust technical solutions, providing innovative approaches to complex tooling challenges

• Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for DevOps best practices, supporting both local and remote team members

🔑 Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on GCP, devops tooling such as Jenkins,Jira

• Significant working experience in software design, development and testing, preferably in Java /Python technology stack

• Strong Devops/Environment capabilities, Strong capabilities in scripting language (shell script and python) and should be well worse to work with Linux/ containerized platforms

• Should have experience in CI CD tools like Jenkins, cloud Build, Ansible

• Should be able to troubleshoot issues related with Network

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and DevSecOps pipeline set up/maintenance

• Should have good understanding of Messaging Queues (IBM MQ) and sFTP connectivity and Should know TLS implementations using certificates

• Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies and business domain

• Excellent communication skills in English (min. B2 level)

• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions,

• Should be able to provide innovative solutions to complex tooling problems

• 6x a month working from the office in Krakow
