They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Warsaw. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with modern Azure data technologies while contributing to the design and delivery of enterprise data solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Position Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing and supporting scalable data solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. You'll work with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks and SQL Server to build reliable data pipelines and products that meet enterprise requirements. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise across the full data engineering lifecycle, from design through to production support, while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and enterprise data products


• Build solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake and Databricks


• Develop and maintain SQL Server and SSIS-based data integration processes


• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub


• Apply Git-based development practices including branching, pull requests and code reviews


• Optimise ETL and ELT processes for performance, stability and data quality


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions


• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain technical documentation


• Support data models and pipelines in production environments

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing or related field


• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics and Data Lake Storage


• Proven experience with Azure Databricks for data processing and analytics


• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development skills


• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)


• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub


• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming


• Good knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling and ETL/ELT concepts


• Experience delivering production-ready data solutions in Agile environments


• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
