Wilhelmsen Business Service Center (WBSC) is part of the Wilhelmsen Group, a global provider of services and products to the maritime industry for 165 years. WBSC is one of four companies located in Szczecin where we employ over 240 people in several departments. The entire FSS team consists of more than 60 people, and the GL team is a part of it.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Wilhelmsen Business Service Center (WBSC) in Szczecin. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax returns. What you will own and manage in your day-to-day work at Wilhelmsen: 

• Calculate and post general ledger entries e.g. deferred income tax, accruals, provisions
• Provide Group and statutory reporting (BS, P&L statements and other required)
• Support transitions projects, initiate improvements
• Maintaining fixed assets subledger and perform postings
• Maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare statutory financial statement
• Perform GL accounts and BS reconciliation
• Prepare VAT and Tax declaration

This role is a perfect challenge for you if you have:

• At least 2-3 years of relevant general accounting experience
• Practical accounting knowledge in end-to-end GL / financial audit or financial reporting
• Finance and Accounting or other science academic degree
• Good knowledge of Excel and financial systems
• Analytical skills and you are detail oriented
• Communicative English skills - both w
