Senior Software Consultant (Python, Node.js and Go)

Type of contract: B2B contract

Salary range: 125 - 160 PLN/H

What will you do?

Join a strategic Software Security platform initiative focused on Engineering Excellence, modern cloud-native solutions, and large-scale automation. You will help build and evolve internal products and services, contribute hands-on to software development, and drive high engineering standards across agile teams. The role combines software engineering, cloud architecture, platform ownership, and technical leadership with a strong focus on innovation, automation, reliability, and security.

Your tasks

• Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Node.js


• Build and enhance cloud-native services running on Google Cloud Platform


• Architect and manage solutions on Google Kubernetes Engine


• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub


• Optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-concurrency workloads


• Own the full lifecycle of services, ensuring resilience, observability and cost efficiency


• Design and manage OAuth2 and OpenID Connect integrations


• Drive engineering excellence, best practices and code quality across teams


• Identify opportunities for automation and eliminate manual operational activities


• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions


• Mentor engineers and actively share knowledge across teams


• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Python and Django


• Strong commercial experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS


• Experience designing and deploying solutions on Google Cloud Platform


• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)


• Experience building event-driven architectures


• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and query optimization


• Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect


• Experience with cloud-native application design and microservices


• Experience with observability, monitoring and operational excellence


• Knowledge of software architecture and engineering best practices


• Experience working in Agile environments


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills


• Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 6 days a month
