Software Architect

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance and consultation on software engineering practices and solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders and project teams.
• Design and optimize software development lifecycles, processes, and methodologies.
• Review and recommend end-to-end solution architectures for complex initiatives.
• Define and drive the engineering vision across the software delivery landscape.
• Establish architecture standards, reference models, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure architectural consistency, governance, and alignment across the enterprise.
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. 

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years of professional IT experience, including 5 years in software architecture or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in the design of complex, distributed, enterprise-scale, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of architecture styles, architectural patterns, and software architecture best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and experience in system modelling using ArchiMate notation.
• Possession of at least two (2) of the following certifications (or equivalent): Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalents.
• Hands-on experience with backend and/or frontend development technologies, such as .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in DevSecOps, including CI/CD strategy, platform design, containerization, orchestration, and platform engineering concepts.
• Proven ability to act as a technical leader, influencing teams without direct authority, defining architecture vision, communicating technical strategies, and making high-impact architectural decisions.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring senior engineers, development leads, technical leaders, and architects, while providing technical guidance across teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Very good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Eligibility to obtain an EU Personal Security Clearance, at a later stage is required.
