Software Engineer II - Ada (M/F/D)

Our primary development language is Ada.

Haven't worked with Ada before? That's okay. We're looking for engineers with strong programming fundamentals in C/C++ who are excited by technical challenges and confident in their ability to learn new technologies.

You'll work on real-world engineering challenges, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to technologies that make air travel safer, smarter, and more efficient.

This is a hybrid role - 3 days from the office, 2 days from home.

Electronic Solutions develops the avionics, navigation systems, sensors and electromagnetic defense technology that help aircraft perform safely and with precision. Our systems are on board 90% of the world's aircraft — serving commercial aviation, defense and space operators from integrated flight deck platforms with 30-plus years in service to radiation-hardened systems trusted for human spaceflight.

• This position involves preparation and review of software requirements based on customer requirements.
• Implementation, testing and integration of software based on structured requirements.
• Following and enhancing methodologies for software development and design, as well as improving coding best practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members regarding task status, potential issues, and their resolution. 

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering. 
• At least 3 years of experience with C/C++  
• Knowledge of Ada programming language is advantageous.
• Experience in software review and testing, as well as in requirements review.
• Proficiency in English, with a language level between B2 and C1.
