Job Description - Supplier Assurance Coordinator (fixed term contract) - Gdańsk


Do you want to apply for an exciting year and further develop your technical expertise as our new Supplier Assurance Coordinator, based at our office in Gdansk? Do you hold experience within product or raw material quality assurance / control and understand the need for strong data and documentation? Are you passionate about food / dairy products and ingredients?



As our new temporary Supplier Assurance Coordinator based in Gdansk, you join an agile and multinational team of ambitious and highly motivated technical specialists both locally and globally – by being part of Arla central QEHS, Supplier Assurance function. We are based in Denmark (Arla Head Office), Germany, Poland, UK and Middle East, respectively, and provide business support across our markets and regions. You will have ample opportunity to contribute to the business with your passion for supplier and raw material data management in IT expert systems, ensuring compliance with legal and business demands. You will also be supporting our technical specialists in their work with suppliers, Procurement and internal stakeholders internationally.


 


 What is the job?


As a temporary Supplier Assurance Coordinator, you will support the QEHS Supplier Assurance team in delivering operational tasks of conducting annual reviews of ingredient specification and supplier data, to meet compliance and secure high data quality into our IT systems. You will support our technical specialists’ approval of suppliers and ingredients by conducting technical administrative tasks, also supporting always valid and high-quality data and documentation into our systems. This could be in relation to supplier performance management and follow up; certificates update, supporting reporting and follow up upon supplier audit activities increasing Supplier Assurance visibility in Internal social media. You will be resolving day-to-day issues in close collaboration with your Supplier Assurance colleagues and supporting the team in achieving our overall goals of always valid and compliant data available for the business.



In summary you will support Supplier Assurance team activities across markets:



  • Conduct review of suppliers of primarily ingredients and packaging materials

  • Conduct review of ingredient specifications

  • Other administrative tasks related to ingredients specification management

  • Other administrative tasks related to supplier approval, assessments and auditing

  • General support to key stakeholders in e.g. Procurement, sites, other QEHS specialist functions

  • Participate relevant training and working group activities related to your tasks

  • Update certificates

  • Increase our visibility on internal social media


 


Who are you?



  • Presumably you are educated or completing your education in a Food Related area or similar.

  • You may have experience from a (food) production company maybe from a role as quality assurance or quality control.

  • You are aware of or have a key interest in building insights on the significance of food safety and quality management.

  • You understand the importance of delivering high quality, relevant master data on time.


On a personal level:



  • You have passion for compliance management related to food products and suppliers.

  • You have a positive mindset, and see the opportunities of working in a dynamic, international environment with multiple stakeholders at a high pace.

  • You are robust and have the drive to follow up and finalize tasks delegated to you, as well as timely management of information to and consultation with key stakeholders – also when unforeseen changes need immediate action.

  • You are structured and want to deliver strong results of good quality – and have the attitude that the success of the team is dependent on your collaboration and contribution.


 


Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
