As part of Lyten Poland’s continued organizational growth and focus on building strong, long-term supplier relationships, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure high quality standards within the area of responsibility and to actively promote a strong quality culture across the organization.
The role acts as a subject matter expert in Incoming Inspection and Supplier Quality Engineering, representing Lyten towards suppliers (and customers when ), while serving as a role model for continuous improvement, ownership, and innovative problem-solving.
Key responsibilities
Work in compliance with health & safety regulations, quality management system, and environmental management system requirements
Promote and implement quality standards and a quality mindset across the organization
Co-create and execute the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) strategic development plan
Report supplier quality activities and KPIs to the Quality Manager
Support production and other departments in resolving actual or potential supplier-related quality issues
Manage supplier complaints and non-conformities in line with defined procedures
Cooperate with suppliers to drive continuous quality improvement
Define process and product requirements for new components in cooperation with Customer Quality Support, including APQP, FMEA for incoming inspection processes, SPC development and monitoring and control of special characteristics
Ensure supplier compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and applicable legal requirements
Support incoming inspection activities and production issues related to material quality
Maintain and update system procedures related to supplier quality assurance
Requirements
Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Fluent English (spoken and written) enabling effective collaboration with international teams and suppliers
Fluent Polish (spoken and written) for local communication
Strong meeting facilitation skills, particularly for customer-reported problem analysis
Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies: 8D, 5 Why, PDCA
Proficiency in automotive quality tools in line with AIAG standards: FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, APQP / PPAP
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes to enable effective quality analysis
Basic knowledge of electronics
Supplier auditor qualifications
Proven knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015
Former battery industry experience (additional plus)
Minimum salary for the position starts with 11 000 PLN
