WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US 

The Tax Manager, Reporting & Compliance will be a pivotal part of our tax team, a specialized subset within Group Finance. Our team is responsible for overseeing the tax and transfer pricing compliance and strategy across 40+ SimCorp entities.  

Based at our headquarters in Copenhagen or one of our hubs, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate tax reporting, compliance, and efficiency across SimCorp's global operations. 

Reporting directly to the Director, Tax Reporting and Compliance, you will contribute to high-quality group tax reporting to our ultimate parent, Deutsche Börse, manage Danish tax obligations, and support continuous improvements in processes and automation. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives on precision, numbers, and cross-functional collaboration in a multinational setting. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

As a Tax Manager, Reporting & Compliance, you will:  

• Prepare and support consolidated tax positions, including calculation for tax provisions, deferred tax assets, and effective tax rate calculations for SimCorp Group. 

• Assist in managing quarterly and annual consolidated tax reporting in compliance with IFRS standards, delivering accurate submission to our ultimate parent, Deutsche Börse. 

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns for Danish entities and joint taxation.  

• Support automation initiatives for tax calculations and reporting packages to enhance accuracy and efficiency.  

• Contribute to tax projects including implementation of tax technology and systems  

• Monitor day-to-day tax risks, assist in documenting uncertain tax positions, and help track regulatory changes impacting the group 

• Collaborate closely with finance, legal, treasury, business units, external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities to gather data and resolve queries  

WHAT WE VALUE 

Experience and Qualifications:   

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industry and/or consultancy, with strong exposure to multinational groups 

• Relevant education such as master degree in accounting, taxation, economics or education from tax administration or any combination thereof; professional qualification such as CPA and/or CTA 

Skills and Knowledge:  

• Solid expertise in tax accounting and reporting under IFRS combined with solid general accounting/finance knowledge 

• Good understanding of Danish or international corporate tax legislation 

• Strong analytical skills and good with numbers  

• Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a drive to deliver accurate, high-quality results  

• Ability to work independently on detailed tasks while collaborating effectively within a team  

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to explain technical tax matters clearly to stakeholders  

• Experience in ERP systems, Workday and SAP is a plus 

• Fluency in English, Danish is а plus
