Technical Product Owner Consultant

Type of contract: B2B contract

Salary range: 120 - 160 PLN/H

What will you do?

You will work at the intersection of product, architecture, and delivery, helping turn business ideas into scalable digital solutions. In this role, you will assess feasibility, integrations, APIs, data flows, non-functional requirements, and system dependencies, while translating product concepts into clear technical requirements and backlog items for delivery teams. You will support the creation of a modern digital banking product built from scratch, focused on intuitive mobile and web experiences across areas such as onboarding, accounts, investing, and portfolios.

Your tasks

• Translate product concepts into technical backlog and detailed requirements for delivery teams


• Assess feasibility of new features and validate technical dependencies across systems and domains


• Define and refine requirements related to integrations, APIs, data flows, and non-functional requirements


• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders


• Support discovery activities, including shaping solutions, validating assumptions, and prioritising initiatives


• Coordinate product and delivery alignment across multiple teams and business areas


• Drive the development of digital banking journeys with strong focus on mobile and web experience


• Ensure solutions support business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, or similar role in complex digital product environments


• Experience working at the intersection of product, architecture, and delivery


• Ability to translate business and product concepts into technical requirements and backlog items


• Experience assessing integrations, APIs, data dependencies, and non-functional requirements


• Experience working with mobile and web products


• Good understanding of banking systems and digital banking journeys


• Experience collaborating with architects and cross-functional delivery teams


• Documented experience in designing or developing processes for investment products, especially in digital channels for retail customers


• Experience in projects related to investment products such as stocks, ETFs, investment funds, investment advisory, or wealth management


• Experience in designing mobile applications and self-service processes for investment products


• Knowledge of investment onboarding processes and selected MiFID aspects related to digital sales


• Experience working with financial institutions, brokerage houses, or investment fintech companies


• Very good stakeholder management and communication skills


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• English at a level allowing effective work in an international environment


• Hybrid work in Warsaw (2 office days per week)

• Experience coordinating work across multiple domains or product teams


• Experience in fintech or start-up like product environments


• Experience working on products built from scratch


• Understanding of customer journeys related to onboarding, accounts, investments, and portfolios


• Experience with agile discovery and MVP definition
