Test Manager - Financial Systems Rollout (She/ He/ They)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Test Manager to support a large-scale financial systems transformation programme for a global banking client. You will lead end-to-end testing across a complex rollout, working with international teams and senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery into production.

We are seeking a confident and collaborative Test Manager who can operate effectively in complex, fast-paced programmes. You will bring strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to drive testing to successful outcomes. If you have a proven track record in financial systems delivery and enjoy working in global transformation programmes, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Test Strategy and overall test approach.


• Lead end-to-end testing across key phases (SIT, UAT, deployment, hypercare).


• Manage test planning, risks, defects, and dependencies.


• Coordinate testing across distributed teams (onshore/offshore).


• Provide clear status reporting and Go/No-Go recommendations.


• Support production readiness, including deployment validation and smoke testing.


• Collaborate with business, technology, and programme stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Test Manager in financial services or banking.


• Strong background in end-to-end testing for large transformation programmes.


• Experience with financial system rollouts, including data migration and cutover planning.


• Experience working in global, multi-team environments.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of financial processes (e.g. GL, payments, reconciliation).


• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.


• Experience with integration testing across complex system landscapes.


• Knowledge of regulatory environments (e.g. SOX, GDPR, AML).


• Experience with test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.


• Awareness of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
