Treasury Associate Cash management

As a Treasury  Associate – Cash management (Sr. Associate, Cash & Liquidity) you will be responsible for ensure that all payments in relation to assigned entities are processed within the agreed time-frames, and that the bank accounts are fully reconciled on a monthly basis. To ensure that all bank accounts have up to date and authorized signatories and users. You will act as the administrator for core bank portals and responsible for the compliance associated controls. You will be also responsible for executing all treasury related payments, including, but not limited to, hedge and investment payments within the TMS (Treasury Management System).

In this role, a typical day will include: 

• Post and process daily bank statements and FX for all in-scope countries
• Input and control both automated and manual payment processes, either within TMS or e-banking
• Forecast payments in collaboration with FRA Ops. Support internal departments on returned payments/fees/reconciling items by liaising with banks
• Post and reconcile all bank and clearing accounts within ERP.
• Process PROMENTA where necessary.
• Perform duties assigned within the AFCM controls matrix without failures.
• First escalation point for FRA Ops and different Banks.
• Support bank account documentation for opening/closing bank accounts, updating and maintaining bank signatories for core entities, support on reviewing accesses, online administration for APL definitions.
• Perform ad hoc duties that are assigned by Treasury Manager and Treasury Leadership
• Participate in TCM related projects to support Continuous Improvements.
• Perform month end closure related task

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Experience within a General Finance /Treasury Role/ Accounting role - minimum 2 years
• Experience in SAP and/or FIS Integrity or other Treasury Management Systems
• Experience with IHC SAP module
• Fluency in English, proficiency with one of the European languages will be a plus
• Transition experience is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously
• Interpersonal skills; high level of communication and collaboration will be your strong asset
• Positive attitude and ability to work in fast-paced project environment
• Focus on continuous process improvement
