JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: VAT Supervisor

Reports to: Indirect Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Indirect Tax (VAT and withholding tax) returns and perform reconciliations for European entities serviced by the financial shared services center (Poland, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc.);


• Review tax returns and other reports prepared by other team members;


• Ensure compliance of tax processes in Technicolor with applicable laws and regulations;


• Coordinate audits in the VAT area (internal and external);


• Support the internal control and compliance process;


• Lead an Indirect Tax compliance team of approximately 5 members (supporting the team with tax technical and process knowledge updates, monitor and plan the work schedule of Indirect Tax analysts).


• Develop, update and implement processes and procedures;


• Participate in optimizing tax processes to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains.

Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of of relevant experience;


• Professional experience in an SSC/BPO environment or a Big 4 firm would be an advantage;


• Practical skills in MS Office (Excel: functions and pivot tables);


• Knowledge of Thomson Reuters OneSource Indirect Compliance would be an advantage;


• SAP knowledge would be an asset;


• Leadership skills;


• Ability to design and execute processes;


• Attention on details;


• Excellent organisation and coordination skills;


• Tech-savvy and eager to achieve process efficiency gains through automation projects;


• Languages: fluent in spoken and written English, native Polish speaker.
