WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
As part of Group IT, we are on a transformation journey to industrialize IT and help the rest of the organization to mature processes and efficiency. Group IT consists of around 90 skilled and motivated colleagues around the globe.
We are looking for an experienced Workday HCM Consultant to help maintain and enhance our Workday HCM platform. Based in Manila or Warsaw, you will be part of the IT ERP team. The team comprises 14 colleagues with various roles, including a Business Analysts, Functional and Integration Consultants. In your role you will specialize in the HCM part of the platform but also get a chance to experience the full Workday Platform including HCM, Finance and Professional Services. You will report to the Head of ERP Systems, based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As Workday HCM Consultant, you will support People & Culture teams across the world in using Workday as a driver for developing and implementing best-practice HR processes and enabling operational excellence. You will cover the full development lifecycle from gathering and understanding requirements, designing fit for purpose solutions, implement the changes in Workday and deploying them into production. You will also serve as third level support to ensure our Workday platform works as intended. In your role you will also play an important role in the bi-yearly Workday Releases as well as our innovation process, which aims at pro-actively suggesting features and functionality to make our Workday platform smarter.
Your work hours will align with EMEA time zones. You are expected to be onsite in our Manila or Warsaw office 2 days a week.

We are looking for an experienced Workday Integration Specialist to help maintain and enhance our Workday platform. In SimCorp, we use a broad set of Workday modules across HCM and Finance. Based in Warsaw, you will be part of the IT ERP team. The team comprises 12 colleagues with various roles, including a Business Analysts, Functional and Integration Consultants.. You will report to the Head of ERP Systems based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As a Workday Integration Specialist, you will play a key role in evolving and optimizing our Workday platform across multiple functional areas. Your responsibilities will span:
This involves using Workday to standardize, simplify, centralize, and automate processes and ensure efficient operational processes around the Workday application. The work environment is dynamic and rapidly growing within an international company with significant growth potential and career opportunities. Your working hours will align with the EMEA time zone. It is expected that you will be present in our office for two days a week.
Gather and understand requirements
Create solution designs based on key business requirements
Configure/develop, test, and deploy solutions
Take part in application support and maintenance tasks
Propose ways to innovate and make our solutions more efficient
Adhere to IT principles and suggest future changes
Work on implementing the backlog of ideas, change requests and new releases
To succeed in this role, we believe that you possess the following qualifications:
An academic degree in HR, IT or similar relevant field
Relevant experience from implementing Workday solutions either as a consultant or through in-house expertise
Experience in 1 or more of the following modules: Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Optimization, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking.
Experience with business- and HR process optimization
Sound knowledge of operational processes in HR
Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English, bridging IT and HR
Ability to prioritize tasks, to ensure deadlines are achieved
Preferably working knowledge of Agile (Kanban) methodologies
You have a sense of humor
