Our client is recruiting an experienced Private Client Advisor Porto Portugal to join their established team in Porto, Portugal. This position focuses on delivering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to a diverse international client base, including expatriates and high-net-worth individuals. The successful candidate will thrive in Porto’s dynamic financial landscape and growing cross-border wealth management sector.

Location: Porto, Portugal. This is an international expatriate opportunity for qualified financial advisors seeking to work with a global client base from a dynamic overseas market.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide clients through complex financial decisions with clear, professional advice
• Develop meaningful relationships with clients through ongoing support and expert guidance
• Conduct detailed financial planning reviews and comprehensive client consultations
• Design and implement personalised wealth strategies for investment, pension, and protection
• Provide specialist advice on cross-border financial issues and international markets
• Assist with UK pension transfer analysis, QROPS planning, and tax-efficient investing
• Maintain rigorous compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Holds a relevant UK financial services qualification (DipPFS, CISI Level 4, CFP or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience of 2-3 years in a client-facing financial advisory role
• Sound knowledge of investment products, pension arrangements, and wealth planning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with cross-border or expatriate clients desired
• Strong commitment to professional development and regulatory best practice
