POSITION SUMMARY 

At Nestlé Portugal, we are looking for a Senior Brand Manager Coffee to lead the local brand agenda for NESCAFÉ and help accelerate the sustainable growth of the Coffee category. In this role, you will translate global brand ambition into locally relevant strategies, building powerful consumer connections, strengthening brand equity and driving business performance across channels. You will act as a strategic business partner, combining consumer understanding, commercial acumen, innovation leadership and flawless execution to shape the future of coffee in Portugal.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF… 

• Lead the NESCAFÉ brand strategy in Portugal, translating global ambition into locally relevant plans that strengthen brand equity and drive business growth;


• Identify and activate growth opportunities for the Coffee category through strong consumer, market, portfolio and competitive understanding;


• Develop and execute integrated brand plans across media, digital, shopper, retail and key consumer touchpoints, ensuring consistency and impact;


• Lead innovation, renovation and portfolio optimization initiatives, from opportunity identification to launch execution and performance tracking;


• Manage key P&L drivers, including PFME planning, budget allocation and ROI optimization, focusing resources on the highest-impact priorities;


• Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, external partners and international Coffee stakeholders to ensure excellent execution and shared impact;


• Embed Nestlé’s purpose, sustainability commitments and regenerative agriculture agenda into brand plans where relevant. 

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL 

• University degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management or related commercial roles, preferably within FMCG;


• Strong track record in brand strategy, integrated communication, innovation management and portfolio development, with solid business acumen and P&L understanding;


• Analytical mindset, able to turn consumer, category, pricing and performance data into actionable growth opportunities and fact-based recommendations;


• Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders and external partners in dynamic environments;


• Full proficiency in English and Portuguese; international exposure or experience with global brands and multicultural teams is highly valued;


• Proactive, resilient and results-oriented mindset, with curiosity, ownership, openness to test-and-learn approaches and passion for building meaningful consumer value.
