Senior O2C Specialist | German + English | Porto, Portugal

CBTalents is looking for an experienced Senior Order-to-Cash (O2C) Specialist with strong German and English skills to join an international team in Porto, Portugal.

This is an opportunity for a finance professional who combines analytical thinking, process expertise, and leadership skills to improve financial performance and support business growth.

What you'll be responsible for

• Oversee the end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle, including order management, billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor accounts receivable performance, analyse ageing reports, and develop strategies to reduce outstanding payments.
• Resolve complex customer disputes and negotiate payment terms with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, IFRS, and internal policies.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and process improvement.
• Mentor junior specialists and collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Treasury, and Tax teams.

What you'll bring

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5–7 years of experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, and O2C processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent German and advanced English (C1).

What to expect

• Location: Porto, Portugal.
• Work model: On-site.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00, with weekends off initially. The schedule may later change to rotational shifts covering 24/7 operations, subject to confirmation.
• Relocation support, including shared accommodation for eligible candidates moving to Portugal. Details will be discussed during the interview; flights are not included.
