Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Application Service Manager with a strong background in application service management and IT vendor governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the contractual, financial, and operational management of technology services within international environments. You will oversee vendor performance, budget control, service delivery, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This position requires excellent analytical skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and a service-oriented mindset.
Required Skills
• Minimum 10 years of experience in application service management.
• University degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in IT contract and vendor management.
• Knowledge of financial control, budgeting, and spend management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative and international environments.
• High level of English proficiency.
Responsibilities (Key Activities)
• Manage the full lifecycle of large IT contracts, including renewals and RFP processes.
• Monitor financial execution, controlling budgets, spend, consumption, and forecasting activities.
• Design, build, and maintain vendor reporting tools and performance dashboards.
• Coordinate vendor governance committees and conduct root-cause analysis for performance issues.
• Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with business, procurement, legal, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
• Oversee invoicing, payments, purchase orders, and the application of contract penalties where applicable.
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives within contract management activities.
• Manage application services, incident resolution, problem management, and service performance.
Required Languages
• Spanish: Professional proficiency.
• English: Professional proficiency (B2-C1).
