Software Technical Writer

Summary of the role

Are you passionate about turning complex technical concepts into clear, engaging documentation? Join our AirOps Product Technical Writers team and contribute to the Seamless Travel product portfolio.
In this role, you will own the creation, writing, and review of high‑quality technical documentation—ranging from how‑to guides and installation manuals to solution overviews, code references, and API documentation. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Product Managers, and Product Owners to ensure our users, operators, and developers access accurate and intuitive product information.

What you’ll do

• Partner with R&D, Product Managers and Product Owners to plan, create, and maintain all product documentation.

• Write, edit, and proofread documentation ensuring clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to templates and style guidelines.

• Propose and contribute to documentation design, structure, and templates.

• Produce visuals such as screenshots, flowcharts, and diagrams.

• Participate actively in writing sessions, scrum ceremonies, and cross‑functional meetings.

• Ensure strict compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, Information Security, and Data Privacy policies, including mandatory trainings.

• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and security in handling product information.

What we’re looking for

• Strong ability to adapt documentation for different audiences: users, operators, technicians, system administrators, and developers.

• Excellent ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, structured, and accessible way.

• Strong attention to detail and proven track record of delivering high‑quality documentation.

• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical groups.

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Experience writing code documentation, including code reference guides and software architecture documents.

• Ability to read and understand source code.

• Knowledge of software system architecture.

Desirable

• Knowledge of DITA.

• Experience with image editing tools.

• Exposure to Business Analyst functions.
