Position: Mid-Senior Windows Sysadmin
Location: Porto / Hybrid
Job Summary: We are looking for a Mid-Senior Windows Sysadmin to ensure the stability, availability, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure environments. The role involves providing Level 2/3 support for Windows and Linux systems, managing incidents, problems and changes according to ITIL practices, maintaining virtualized and storage environments, automating operational tasks with PowerShell, and supporting infrastructure deployments, migrations, and disaster recovery activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server, VMware, storage, and infrastructure services.
- Manage incidents, problems, and change requests following ITIL practices.
- Coordinate planned technical operations, infrastructure interventions, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor infrastructure and systems to ensure availability, performance, and operational stability.
- Install and maintain physical servers and deploy applications, patches, and updates using SCCM/MECM.
- Develop and improve PowerShell scripts and automation tools.
- Support VMware virtualization environments, including vCenter.
- Work with clusters, SAN/NAS storage, and support NetApp storage implementations and migrations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO environments.
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with security standards and defined operational procedures.
- Contribute to infrastructure design, implementation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities when required.
- Ensure service quality and compliance with agreed SLAs.
- Identify operational risks and proactively implement corrective measures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience in Windows and Linux System Administration.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, particularly versions 2019, 2022, and 2025.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows Server environments.
- Professional experience with VMware vCenter in complex environments.
- Experience with SCCM/MECM and infrastructure deployment/industrialization tools.
- Experience with clusters and SAN storage technologies.
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS and NetApp storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
- Intermediate knowledge of networking, including network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools, ideally Zabbix.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
- English B2 level; French is a plus.
- Availability for occasional weekend technical support and holiday interventions when required.
