Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Perioperative Trained Registered Nurse to join the General Operating Theatres Epping.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, surgical, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
This role requires the successful candidate to have previous Operating theatre experience as an all-rounder, scrub/scout anaesthetic and Recovery nursing. Northern Health Epping Campus has 10 operating theatres inclusive of 2 hybrid theatres. Specialties include - Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Urology, General Surgical, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Vascular and Thoracic.
This role is responsible for:
Ensuring safe, effective and high-quality patient care in accordance to Policy and ACORN/ACPAN Standards
Ensuring compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
Promoting a culture of safety, inclusivity, innovation and continuous improvement
