AutoCAD Draftsman

We are seeking a AutoCAD Draftsman who will prepare accurate technical
drawings and layouts based on engineering designs, project requirements, site
measurements, and approved specifications. The role requires close coordination
with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure drawings are complete,
updated, and suitable for construction and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare
  detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
  
• Develop
  shop drawings, layout drawings, sections, elevations, and construction
  details.
  
• Convert
  engineering sketches, concepts, and site measurements into accurate
  technical drawings.
  
• Revise
  drawings based on consultant, client, or engineer comments.
  
• Prepare
  as-built drawings reflecting completed site conditions.
  
• Maintain
  proper drawing numbers, revision history, and document records.
  
• Coordinate
  drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil
  disciplines.
  
• Identify
  drawing conflicts and report discrepancies to the concerned engineer.
  
• Ensure
  drawings comply with project specifications, approved standards, and
  client requirements.
  
• Support
  quantity take-offs and material calculations when required.
  
• Attend
  site visits to verify dimensions and actual work conditions.
  
• Prepare
  drawing submissions and maintain updated drawing registers.
  
• Assist
  engineers and project teams with technical documentation and
  drawing-related requirements.

• Diploma
  or technical qualification in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Proven
  experience working as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
  
• Strong
  proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
  
• Ability
  to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
  
• Knowledge
  of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical detailing.
  
• Good
  understanding of drawing scales, dimensions, symbols, and specifications.
  
• Familiarity
  with Microsoft Office.
  
• Revit
  or other drafting software experience is an advantage.
  
• Good
  communication, coordination, and attention to detail.
  
• Ability
  to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
