In this role, you will be working in our Business Development Division, supporting Al‑Awalia's strategic objectives by delivering business intelligence, performance management frameworks, financial analysis, and market insights that enable data-driven decision-making, organizational excellence, and continuous improvement across the company.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Support the development, execution, and monitoring of corporate strategy and business plans through business intelligence, performance analysis, and strategic insights.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership by providing data-driven analysis, performance evaluations, and evidence-based recommendations.
- Design, develop, and oversee enterprise-wide KPIs, Balanced Scorecards, dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks aligned with corporate objectives.
- Monitor organizational and departmental performance against approved KPIs, targets, and business plans, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
- Conduct strategic analyses, including SWOT assessments, market positioning reviews, scenario analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Evaluate and track strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and growth opportunities across the organization.
- Oversee the collection, validation, analysis, and integration of financial, operational, and market data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, management reports, and analytics tools to support operational, tactical, and executive decision-making.
- Translate complex analytical, financial, and performance data into clear and actionable insights for management and stakeholders.
- Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives, investments, and projects, including NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity, and scenario analysis.
- Analyze the financial impact of strategic decisions, including profitability, EBITDA, cash flow, and capital efficiency.
- Conduct market research, sector analysis, pricing reviews, and competitor benchmarking to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Support digital transformation, automation, and reporting enhancement initiatives related to analytics and performance management.
- Identify process inefficiencies, performance gaps, and quality improvement opportunities through data analysis and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards, quality management requirements, reporting protocols, and internal control frameworks.
- Provide functional guidance and support capability building in business intelligence, financial analysis, performance management, and continuous improvement practices.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
- Contribute to organizational learning by sharing insights, analytical methodologies, and best practices.
About you
For you to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in Business Analytics, Strategy, Finance, Performance Management, or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, strategy, corporate planning, financial analysis, management consulting, or business transformation roles.
- Experience within consulting firms (Big 4 preferred), strategy functions, or investment analysis roles is an advantage.
- Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of business intelligence, analytics, and performance management frameworks.
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, investment appraisal, and business case development.
- Proficiency in BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Solid understanding of data modelling, analytics concepts, and KPI frameworks.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and enterprise reporting environments.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly when engaging with senior leadership.
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization abilities.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and organizational excellence.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
