Chief Investment & Operating Officer

Purpose of Role

To
lead the investment activities of the family office, supporting the
identification, evaluation, execution and management of investment
opportunities and portfolio assets. The role will work closely with the CEO to
develop investment strategy, oversee portfolio performance and support value
creation across investments.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Management

• Identify and
  evaluate investment opportunities across multiple sectors and asset
  classes.
  
• Lead
  financial analysis, valuation and due diligence activities.
  
• Support
  acquisitions, disposals and strategic transactions.
  
• Develop
  investment recommendations and investment papers.
  
• Monitor
  portfolio performance and identify value creation opportunities.
  

Portfolio Management

• Support
  portfolio companies and investments in delivering strategic objectives.
  
• Monitor
  financial and operational performance.
  
• Assist with
  capital allocation and portfolio optimisation activities.
  

Leadership & Governance

• Support the
  development and execution of the family office investment strategy.
  
• Build and
  maintain relationships with investors, advisers and strategic partners.
  
• Provide
  commercial insight and challenge to support decision -making.

Essential Experience &
Qualifications

• Existing
  Qatar experience.
  
• Established
  professional network within Qatar.
  
• 10 -17 years'
  experience.
  
• Investment,
  private equity, family office, investment banking or corporate finance
  background.
  
• M&A
  transaction experience.
  
• Real estate
  investment exposure.
  
• Strong
  financial modelling and valuation capability.
  

Desirable Experience &
Qualifications

• Family
  office experience.
  
• Start -up or
  growth investment experience.
  
• International
  investment exposure.
  
• Professional
  qualification such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
  
• Existing
  regional and international investment network.
