Job Description - CNC Machinist

We are urgently looking for experienced Machinists (Lathe) for a reputed Oil & Gas / Petrochemical company in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in conventional lathe machine operations, machining industrial components, and working in heavy industrial environments.

Candidates must be capable of reading technical drawings, operating precision measuring instruments, and maintaining high-quality machining standards as per industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

â¢ Operate conventional lathe machines for machining and repairing industrial components.

â¢ Perform turning, threading, boring, drilling, and facing operations as per technical drawings and specifications.

â¢ Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tools for accurate machining.

â¢ Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality and dimensional standards.

â¢ Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area.

â¢ Follow safety procedures and company regulations within workshop and plant environments.

â¢ Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to complete assigned jobs within deadlines.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lathe Machine Operator / Machinist in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power Plant, or heavy industrial sectors.

Strong knowledge of conventional lathe machine operations and machining techniques.

Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Experience in machining industrial equipment components is preferred.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
