Job Description - Fabricator

* Carry out fabrication works as per drawings, sketches and project specifications.

* Measure, cut, bend, fit and assemble metal components accurately.

* Perform fit-up of plates, pipes, supports, structures and frames before welding.

* Read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometric drawings and basic layouts.

* Use fabrication tools such as grinding machine, cutting machine, drilling machine and measuring tools.

* Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and quality of fabricated items.

* Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QC team for inspection and clearance.

* Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.

* Follow site safety procedures, hot work requirements, and PPE standards.

* Support fabrication, installation, modification, and repair activities at site or workshop

Requirements

* Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Fabricator.

* Experience in Oil & Gas, construction, shutdown, fabrication, or industrial projects preferred.

* Good knowledge of fabrication drawings and measurements.

* Ability to perform accurate cutting, grinding, fit-up, and assembly works.

* Basic knowledge of welding support activities will be an advantage.

* Must be locally available in Qatar with valid QID.
