Job Description - Head of PE

OUR PARTNER SCHOOL IS SEEKING A HEAD OF PE FOR JANUARY 2022

THE SCHOOL IS A UK CURRICULUM SCHOOL LOCATED WITHIN DOHA, QATAR.

To lead and manage the day to day running of PE department.

To act as a role model of exceptional classroom practice for other teachers, modelling effective strategies with them.

To be accountable for promoting effective PE Teaching and Learning .

To provide a stimulating learning environment across the phase.

To evaluate the outcomes of effective Teaching and Learning across the phase and take a key accountability role in the self evaluation process of the school.

Ensure continuity and progression across the phase through agreed teaching strategies and policies in line with the School Development Plan.

To be accountable for student outcomes across the phase.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years in a similar role

BA Education /Subject related degree

Must have QTS. Unfortunately, a CELTA/DELTA/TEFL are not sufficient.
