Job Description - Head of PE




OUR PARTNER SCHOOL IS SEEKING A HEAD OF PE FOR JANUARY 2022







THE SCHOOL IS A UK CURRICULUM SCHOOL LOCATED WITHIN DOHA, QATAR.



  • To lead and manage the day to day running of PE department.

  • To act as a role model of exceptional classroom practice for other teachers, modelling effective strategies with them.

  • To be accountable for promoting effective PE Teaching and Learning .

  • To provide a stimulating learning environment across the phase.

  • To evaluate the outcomes of effective Teaching and Learning across the phase and take a key accountability role in the self evaluation process of the school.

  • Ensure continuity and progression across the phase through agreed teaching strategies and policies in line with the School Development Plan.

  • To be accountable for student outcomes across the phase.










Requirements



Minimum 2 years in a similar role 



BA Education /Subject related degree



Must have QTS. Unfortunately, a CELTA/DELTA/TEFL are not sufficient.
