Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Marine

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment used in marine operations.
  
• Maintain excavators, forklifts, loaders, cranes, generators, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.
  
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
  
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults and replace defective components.
  
• Perform servicing, overhauling, lubrication, and equipment testing after repair.
  
• Follow PTW, LOTO, housekeeping, and marine HSE procedures.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience in marine projects.
  
• Experience in shipyards, ports, barges, marine terminals, or similar environments.
  
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, and heavy equipment maintenance.
  
• Able to troubleshoot and repair construction and material-handling equipment.
  
• Familiar with preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, and equipment inspection.
  
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Heavy Equipment Maintenance preferred.
