Job Description - HSE Officer

Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions.

Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and site safety requirements.

Review and support risk assessments, JSA/JHA, and method statements.

Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.

Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and safety observations.

Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and safety documentation.

Coordinate with supervisors and workforce to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure emergency procedures and environmental requirements are followed.

Requirements

NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.

Valid Qatar ID (QID).

Valid MIC PTW Card.

Valid MIC Gate Pass.

Relevant HSE experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, industrial, or construction projects.

Good knowledge of PTW, risk assessment, JSA, toolbox talks, and HSE procedures.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Must be able to work effectively with site personnel and management.

Immediate availability is preferred.
