Instrument Fitter

Responsibilities

• Install instrument tubing, fittings, supports, and associated hardware according to drawings and specifications.
  

• Prepare and assemble impulse lines, manifolds, and junction boxes for transmitters and gauges.
  

• Conduct leak tests and pressure tests on instrument tubing systems to ensure integrity.
  

• Assist instrument technicians during loop checks, calibration, and commissioning activities.
  

• Maintain records of installation, inspection, and test results.
  

• Follow offshore HSE standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and permit -to -work systems.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering.
  

• Minimum 3–5 years of offshore instrumentation fitting experience.
  

• Strong knowledge of tubing works, fittings, and Ex -rated equipment installations.
  

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and loop diagrams.
  

• Familiarity with IEC and ISA standards.

• Skilled in stainless steel tubing bending and swaging.
  

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic instrument systems.
  

• Strong troubleshooting and problem -solving skills.
  

• Good teamwork and communication abilities.
