The IT Store Employee plays a crucial role in the management and distribution of IT equipment and supplies. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who is responsible for maintaining inventory, handling logistics, and ensuring that all IT resources are accounted for and properly distributed. An ITIL certification is required to ensure the employee understands and can implement IT service management best practices effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage inventory of all IT equipment, software, and supplies.
Receive and process incoming stock and materials, verify quantities against invoices, and update inventory records.
Prepare and fulfill IT equipment orders for internal departments promptly and accurately, ensuring that all necessary items are in stock.
Conduct regular audits of IT inventory to ensure accuracy and prepare reports for the IT management team.
Coordinate with IT and procurement departments to order new supplies and manage relationships with vendors.
Assist in the setup and preparation of new equipment, including software installations, configurations, and updates.
Issue IT supplies and equipment to staff, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of issuance and return.
Ensure the secure and orderly storage of all IT items in the store.
Handle returns of faulty items to manufacturers for repair or replacement.
Support the disposal and recycling of obsolete or broken IT equipment in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
Required Knowledge and experience:
Minimum Five years’ experience in large scale store for IT
IT Assets Management:
Managing and maintaining IT users assists via asset management system provided by MOPH and as per MOPH standards.
Assign IT assets to MOPH users and update all users IT asset movement.
Establish a secure process for data wiping and proper disposal of devices at the end of their useful life to prevent data breaches.
Experience in Using ITSM or Ticketing
Excellent in handling Incidents, Change Management, Request for fulfillment Processes
Excellent Knowledge in handling SLA Time (Response, Escalate, Notify , Resolution)
At least ITIL V3 or V4 Certified
Have IT Hardware Certificate
Excellent Knowledge in writing email, answer phone, Call center capability
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and vendors.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to physically handle IT equipment and supplies, including lifting, moving, and sorting items.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ITIL Foundation V3 or V4 certification.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
CompTIA Security+.
CompTIA Network+.
CompTIA Systems+.
Cloud Foundation certification or equivalent.
International Computer Driving License (ICDL).
Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken).
Fluency in Hindi (written and spoken).
