Mechanical Technician (Major - Turbomachinery)

• Mechanical maintenance and Troubleshooting activities in the
  continuous operation plants for all major types of rotating and static
  mechanical equipment.
  
• Installation, removal, fixing back and maintenance of Pumps
  & Blowers, compressors, fans, Turbines, all types of Valves, Vessels,
  Columns, Exchangers, Pipes, and other static equipment.
  
• Carry out maintenance activity independently as necessary.
  Handling different types of tools used for maintenance activities and work in
  high elevation with adequate safety protective equipment.
  
• Check work quality and take corrective action to rectify the
  detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
  
• Thorough understanding of the Isometrics, mechanical
  drawings and datasheets.
  
• Cleaning, preserving & maintaining the removed parts of
  the equipment.
  
• Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance management
  system).
  
• Good HSEQ (health safety environment & quality) record
  in his past working.
  
• Read, understand, and execute the jobs as per standard
  operating procedure/ work instruction.
  
• Comply with all relevant procedures comprising of
  Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, Responsible Care, IFA
  Product Stewardship & energy Management System.
  

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  
• 06 years relevant and hands -on experience in Mechanical
  Engineering in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry.
  
• Technicians shall have working level proficiency of Read,
  Write, speak and Understand competency in English language.
  
• Shall be well familiar with the hazardous chemicals /
  materials used in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry, their
  hazards, and safe practices to perform the Installation/Maintenance activity
  safely.
  
• Shall always adhere to the Safety requirements.
  
• Shall have knowledge about PTW (permit to work) system in
  large scale industries and shall pass COMPANY’s PTW as well as PTW acceptance
  authorization post training assessment tests.
  
• Shall understand and work within the framework of COMPANY’s
  Maintenance, HSEQ Policy, procedures and regulations.
