Origination & Investment Development

Purpose of Role

To
originate and develop investment opportunities for the family office by
building and maintaining relationships with business owners, investors,
advisers, financial institutions and strategic partners. The role will be
responsible for developing a pipeline of investment opportunities and
supporting the growth of the family office investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Origination

• Identify and
  originate investment opportunities across targeted sectors and markets.
  
• Develop and
  maintain a pipeline of potential investments.
  
• Build
  relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs and strategic partners.
  
• Identify
  proprietary opportunities before they reach the wider market.
  

Relationship Management

• Represent
  the family office externally.
  
• Develop
  relationships with investors, advisers, family offices and financial
  institutions.
  
• Build
  strategic partnerships that support the family office investment strategy.
  

Transaction Support

• Support the
  evaluation of investment opportunities.
  
• Assist with
  commercial negotiations and transaction discussions.
  
• Coordinate
  with internal and external stakeholders throughout the investment process.

Essential Experience &
Qualifications

• Existing
  Qatar experience.
  
• Established
  professional network within Qatar.
  
• 10 -17 years'
  experience.
  
• Demonstrable
  track record of generating opportunities and introductions.
  
• Investment,
  private equity, corporate finance, M&A or commercial background.
  
• Strong
  relationship -building capability.
  
• Experience
  supporting commercial negotiations and transactions.
  

Desirable Experience &
Qualifications

• Family
  office experience.
  
• Existing
  international (preferably Europe) investment network.
  
• Capital
  raising or investor relations experience.
  
• Real estate
  investment exposure.
  
• Experience
  working with entrepreneurs, founders or family -owned businesses.
  
• International
  investment or transaction experience.
