Painters

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Carry out cleaning, blasting, and priming of surfaces prior to coating application.
  

• Coating Application: Apply protective coatings using brush, roller, or spray methods in line with project specifications.
  

• Quality Control: Ensure coating thickness, curing, and finish meet ASTM and project standards.
  

• Maintenance: Perform touch -ups and maintenance painting to prevent corrosion and extend equipment life.
  

• Safety Compliance: Follow offshore HSE standards, PPE requirements, and permit -to -work systems during painting operations.
  

• Documentation: Record paint usage, inspection results, and maintain coating logs.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of offshore painting/coating experience.
  

• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, and offshore corrosion control.
  

• Ability to read and follow coating specifications and QA/QC procedures.
  

• Familiarity with ASTM and NOC coating standards.
