Painting Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervision: Lead painting and coating crews, ensuring safe and efficient execution of surface preparation and coating activities.
  

• Work Planning: Organize daily tasks, allocate manpower, and ensure adherence to project schedules.
  

• Quality Control: Monitor coating application, thickness, and curing to meet project specifications and industry standards.
  

• Surface Preparation: Oversee blasting, cleaning, and priming activities prior to coating application.
  

• Documentation: Maintain records of paint usage, inspection reports, and quality assurance documentation.
  

• Safety Compliance: Enforce offshore HSE standards, PPE usage, and permit -to -work systems during painting operations.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Industrial Coatings or equivalent.
  

• Minimum 5–7 years of offshore painting/coating supervision experience.
  

• Strong knowledge of protective coatings, surface preparation, and offshore corrosion control.
  

• Ability to read and interpret coating specifications, QA/QC procedures, and project drawings.
  

• Familiarity with ASTM, ISO, and NOC coating standards.

• BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
