The PTW Coordinator is responsible for managing and controlling the Permit to Work system to ensure all maintenance, construction, and operational activities are performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate the issuance, monitoring, suspension, and closure of work permits.
· Verify that all work activities are properly risk assessed and authorized.
· Ensure compliance with Permit to Work, Isolation, SIMOPS, and HSE procedures.
· Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Contractor personnel regarding permit requirements.
· Review Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, and risk assessments.
· Maintain PTW records and reports.
· Conduct permit audits and participate in safety inspections.
· Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance campaigns.
· Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), Associate Degree, or equivalent technical qualification.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas operations, production, or maintenance environments.
· Minimum 6 years of experience working with production operations and control systems.
· Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), SCADA, or Oil & Gas Control Command Systems.
· Strong knowledge of PTW, isolation management, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and SIMOPS.
· NEBOSH, IOSH, H2S, and PTW certifications preferred.
· Excellent coordination and communication skills.
