Job Description - Project Scheduling Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Strong experience in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office
PMP certification preferred
Minimum 6 years of experience in project scheduling roles from Oil & Gas / Defense projects
Experience working in multiple portfolio or mega projects
Great communicator and required strong analytical and reporting skills
Responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for multimillion value projects in coordination with project management teams.
Developing baseline project schedules using tools such as:

Primavera P6
MS Project

Preparing:

Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Resource-loaded schedules
Cost-loaded schedules
S-curves and progress reports

Monitoring project progress against planned milestones
Identifying delays, risks, and critical path impacts
Coordinating with:

Engineering teams
Procurement
Construction/site teams
Supply chain and subcontractors

Preparing recovery plans and mitigation schedules
Supporting earned value management (EVM) and KPI reporting
Participating in project control and management review meetings
Ensuring compliance with contractual timelines and reporting standards
