Job Description - Rigger Scaffolder

Rigger Scaffolder – Marine

Responsibilities

  • Perform rigging, lifting, scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
  • Assist with marine deck operations, loading/unloading, and material handling.
  • Inspect lifting gears, scaffolding components, slings, shackles, and tools before use.
  • Ensure scaffolds are properly erected, secured, tagged, and safe for access.
  • Follow lifting plans, PTW, toolbox talks, and HSE procedures.
  • Coordinate with crane operators, banksmen, scaffold supervisors, and deck crew.


Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of Rigger/Scaffolder experience in marine projects.
  • Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports, or marine facilities.
  • Good knowledge of rigging practices and safe scaffolding erection/dismantling.
  • Familiar with lifting equipment, hand signals, and scaffold safety requirements.
  • Valid Rigger / Scaffolder / Banksman certification preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to work in marine conditions.
