Road Foreman

We are looking for an experienced Road Foreman to
supervise road construction and maintenance activities at site. The candidate
will be responsible for managing manpower, equipment, materials, and daily site
activities while ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and as per project
specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise
  road construction, excavation, grading, backfilling, compaction, asphalt,
  and reinstatement works.
  
• Allocate
  daily tasks to workers, operators, and subcontractors.
  
• Ensure
  work is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and
  project specifications.
  
• Monitor
  site progress and report daily work status to the site engineer or
  supervisor.
  
• Coordinate
  with site engineers, surveyors, QA/QC, HSE, and other construction teams.
  
• Ensure
  proper use of materials, tools, machinery, and equipment at site.
  
• Check
  levels, alignment, road layers, compaction, and surface preparation before
  further work.
  
• Maintain
  safety standards and ensure workers follow PPE and HSE requirements.
  
• Conduct
  toolbox talks and ensure good housekeeping at the worksite.
  
• Support
  inspection activities and resolve minor site issues during execution.
  

Requirements

• Relevant
  experience as Road Foreman in road works, infrastructure, or civil
  construction projects.
  
• Good
  knowledge of road construction methods, asphalt works, subgrade, sub -base,
  base course, and compaction.
  
• Ability
  to read basic drawings and follow site instructions.
  
• Strong
  manpower handling and site coordination skills.
  
• Knowledge
  of HSE procedures and safe work practices.
  
• Locally
  available candidates with immediate joining will be preferred.
