Rotating equipment technician

• Pump Maintenance: Dismantle, inspect, and repair centrifugal, boiler feed, seawater intake, condensate, and potable water pumps.
  

• Alignment & Balancing: Perform precision alignment of shafts, couplings, and bearings using laser alignment tools.
  

• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct hydrostatic, performance, and vibration tests post‑maintenance.
  

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical faults, vibration issues, and seal/bearing failures.
  

• Documentation: Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
  

• Safety Compliance: Follow HSE procedures, permit‑to‑work systems, and PPE requirements during outage activities.
  

• Coordination: Work closely with project engineers, field service engineers, and rigging teams during pump removal/installation.
  

Requirements

• Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
  

• Minimum 5–7 years’ hands‑on experience with rotating equipment, specifically pumps.
  

• Strong knowledge of centrifugal, boiler feed, condensate extraction, and seawater intake pumps.
  

• Familiarity with QE standards, ASME/API codes, and OEM manuals.
